Sometimes, the best things in life are just around the corner......
This is the case in question with this particular bike store. The name is the Le Grand Cycle. http://www.legrandcycle.com/. The store is located in the plateau, the heart of the hip community in Montreal. The store is on the way to work from my home right in the bicycle path.
The stores caters to the cycling in public in general but more in general to experienced bikers such as bicycle couriers and mountain bikers. They have an open workshop concept. You actually see the work is that is being done. The staff is very experienced and friendly. They give you tips on how to take care of your bike and the maintenance needed in every season. As the work is being done in your bike, you can have a cup of joe ( They make really good coffee there), or a juice or snack. The times that I have been there, I always felt welcome.
I give this place an A+++
